Re: Why watching ITV hub the tv turned off. ITV Hub have told us to contact the suppliers Currys but I have tried that before and they couldn't help. x or later, then you must have a very old first generation iPad.

I have tried to update the software as suggested by ITV Hub but it says ITV Hub - the new home of ITV Player, ITV on demand and live TV.

the ITV Hub apps is currently full of bugs, making it border line useless. Installing ITV hub on Fire TV Stick I'm very new to the Fire TV Stick - and am desperately trying to install the ITV hub app on it - but having no luck at all.
I find it odd that catch up programmes work on the Apple TV too. all4 and itv hub appear to be wrappers not proper apps - still if someone could get them working for non amazon devices there are loads of people requesting them in various threads( shield, sony tv, philips tv etc. Our V6 box is wifi connected to the broadband hub.

I pay for the subscription too, and it's no better! I suspect its an Apple thing - Android devices recommend clearing the cache/cookies on the App which is something the iphone cannot do. At least ITV allows watch from start in HD. This seems so unfair as if I were on Freeview they would be free. It loaded up, played a commercial then off we went into the first episode which seemed in ok quality to me.
